Summary and Key Findings
In the last two years, Washington’s grades improved slightly.

The biggest improvement over the 2007 Report Card was in math and science due to bold reforms to raise the academic bar for all students.
The Report Card's most alarming finding is the decline in Washington's preparation of students for college and work.
Our schools made progress, but budget cuts could jeopardize the gains in education. These next two years will reveal our collective commitment to our children and their future. It’s up to all of us to ensure our children receive the education they deserve.
